Linda Oliver was meant to be the owner of Harbour Bay Florist and Events. The nurse-turned-stay-at-home-mom volunteered for several nonprofits and served on many a board of directors while raising a family. Ultimately, she was drawn to the special events side of philanthropy. "It was at this time that I fell in love with what I call the magic moment, that moment when satisfied clients see their event room for the first time and see all their hard work and planning come to fruition," she says. It was this passion that prompted her to open an event planning business called The Main Event in 2000. In 2013, she received a call from a friend who was a floral designer at Harbour Bay, telling her the owner was retiring and asking her whether she would consider buying the business. "I unhesitatingly said yes," she says. "With my experience in event and wedding planning, Harbour Bay is now no longer just a florist. It is now the only full-service floral and event-management company on the Treasure Coast." The pink building on Southeast Ocean Boulevard has a special place in her heart, as well, because it is on the route of the Stuart Christmas Parade. "My three children were in that parade collectively for more than 15 years, and we always met under the wonderful tree in the parking lot."

I have been working at HBF since 2013 after graduating from UCF with an Event Management degree. I have always worked in Events! Started in 2006 when Linda was "The Main Event, and I was her high school intern. I love the variety of challenges and creative opportunities we experience making every day an adventure. My favorite type of party is a "theme" party, whether a bar/bat mitzvah, charity event, or a house party! I love getting to be part of all life's occasions.

I have been working at HBF since 1998! Before working here I was a designer in Palm Beach for a large event florist. My favorite memory at Harbour Bay is watching Linda, our shop owner, sew an elaborate costume onto a horse for a wedding ceremony processional.

Favorite Flower, Phalaenopsis Orchid
I have been working at HBF since 2017 & in that time have grown so much as a designer. Before working here I was basically a one-woman-show at a florist in Jupiter, and now I create weddings and events from start to finish. You could say that is my favorite part! Every day brings a new creative challenge, whether I am creating something that seems impossible or getting stuff done in a short period of time. The icing on the cake is my great co-workers, awesome boss & fabulous customers.

I have a long history with flowers and design. Since high school, I have been in the flower industry and have loved every moment. After a 47-year career of owning my own business, I am so grateful to be here in the golden days of my career with the wonderful people and clients of Harbour Bay Florist.

I have been working at HBF since 2025. I have loved working with flowers since I was 8 years old, and have always dreamed of working at Harbour Bay Florist. I am a Jensen Beach native, and I am a Florida State Master Designer. My 3 kids bring purpose and joy to my life, and I love getting to share my passion with them.

After relocating to the area in 2023, I came across HBF while driving to the beach! I noticed the hot pink building, stopped by and the rest in history! Before coming to HBF, I worked as a guest services coordinator at a luxury resort in Palm Beach. Now I love getting to hone my craft of Social Media and sharing with the world what our incredible design team creates each day! It is certainly a group effort, and it wouldn't be possible without this awesome team.

Favorite Flower: Cymbidium Orchids
I worked with Harbour Bay Florist from 2009 to 2014 for about 5 years, and now I freelance for holidays, events, and Christmas! Before working here, I worked at other flower shops in the area. I have been a floral designer for nearly 30 years. My favorite thing about working at Harbour Bay Florist is definitely the people. I love everyone here, co-workers and customers.

I have been working with Harbour Bay Florist since September 2022, but before working here I owned a plant service “Plant Masters”. We took care of plants in restaurants, hotels, and residential. My favorite part about working here is the joy I get when I deliver flowers to customers and see their smiling faces and the people I work with. Everyone is so cheerful and happy!

My favorite memory at Harbour Bay Florist definitely has to be last year's Christmas party. It was such a fun time with my coworkers and getting the opportunity to spend time with everyone. I have been working at Harbour Bay Florist since 2021, but before working here I worked at a hardware store and in retail. I love working here because it's a very happy place and the days go by easily.
